SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE, MILAN 2016

Cifra 3, the flap clock by Solari lineadesign was chosen by FATTOBENE, the platform for researching and promoting Italian objects that have existed for generations, for the special exhibition organized in the Brera Design District for the occasion of the Salone del Mobile of Milan.
Within the location of Via Palermo 1, FATTOBENE will present a small atlas of timeless icons creating a journey through the fabric of the Italian industry.

The selected items are characterized by beauty, longevity, unique design. The event’s purpose is to highlight their history, so that their quality may be then appreciated up close through a direct experience.


Along with Cifra 3 the following will also be exhibited: the carta aromatica d'Eritrea (Piacenza, since 1927), Marvis toothpaste (Ludovico Martelli, Florence, since 1908), a Valobra soap (Genoa, since 1903) and the Nautilus candle (Graziani, Livorno, since 1885), Coccoina glue (Balma Capoduri, Voghera, since 1927), Tassotti notebooks (Bassano del Grappa, since 1957), the Zenith sewing machine (Balma Capoduri, Voghera, since 1948), the Tre Spade coffee grinder with flywheel (Forno Canavese, since 1894), a set of traditional objects for making pasta and the Pastiglie Leone (Turin, since 1857).

The space in via Palermo will be hosting the exhibition as well as acting as a temporary store where certain items may be purchased, including the SCATOLA N.1, a collection of five iconic products accompanied by their history.
